Along with the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) and the Canadian Rights and Democracy Center, the CCDH contributed to the screening of a documentary film by Egyptian Film-maker Fadel Saleh on three truth commissions: the South African commission, Moroccan Equity and Reconciliation Commission and Canadian commission.

The screening took place in Rabat and Casablanca. It was attended by various policy makers, film-makers and civil society activists and was marked by a rich debate on issues of history and memory.

The film “truth and reconciliation”, produced by the Canadian company Médiatique and broadcast on French TV5, is the second film made this year on the Moroccan Equity and Reconciliation Commission. The first one was produced by a British company and aired on the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on the role of Moroccan women in the Moroccan transition stage.
