Mrs. Fetoum Koudama
Born on January 11, 1945 in Ksar Lakbir.
Mrs. Fettoum Koudama is holder of a BA in sociology (1966) and a BA in law (1972), as well as a lawyer aptitude diploma in 1977.
Mrs. Koudama was a Vice President of the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH). She represented the OMDH at the Council of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, Cairo.
She was also legal adviser to several institutions, including the Ministry in charge of Women’s Condition, Family and Childhood Protection and Handicapped Integration (1999-2001), as well as the Rabat-Hassan Town Council (1998 - 2004).
As an MP representing the Socialist Union for Popular Forces (USFP), she was member of the Commission on Justice and Human Rights. She is also Secretary General of the Moroccan Parliamentarian Women’s Forum, of the Arab Organization “Parliamentarians Against Corruption” and member of the World Parliamentary Action.
She carried out a study on euthanasia and took part in the elaboration of several OMDH reports on the status of human rights in Morocco.
Mrs. Koudama is married and mother of three children.
